So a friend found this add on Craigslist about a phlebotomy training program. It was $500-700 cheaper than any other program I looked at over the summer. I was a bit skeptical at first but it turns out it was legit. SWEET!
I really liked it! The instructor was great. He'll even let us come to any of his future classes to practice doing blood draws. Now if I can only get a job! Wish me luck!
Dang, if only you lived in St. George. Josh and I both worked as phlebotomists while we were living down there. Our boss would hire you in a second just based on your last name. Check with lab corp or quest. Both usually do a fair amount of hiring and you may be able to find a job in a Dr's office through either one. Also check in Dr's offices alone. The office I used to work at in SLC had a small in-office lab. It was so much fun working there.
